In this current moment many Jewish people across identities are feeling estraged from Judiasm, our work through the Intergenerational Diasporic Jewish Education is to reconnect Jews of Color into a lively, attractive Judiasm that is acessible to children with disabilities and LGBTQIA2+ children. We want to cultivate a safe and accessible space for youth from all backgrounds and exposures to Judiasm to connect with liberation theology, Jewish ethics, spirituality, ritual and mysiticism to deepen their connection to their faith, the natural world, other people and to the living pieces of Adam Harishon in all of us.

We are a fiscally sponsored project of SPM Disability Justice as a part of the Trans Queer Disability Doulas Project and we can accept 501C3 tax deductible donations (PayPal - please make sure to state our name!) or donate here via Stripe!

Supporting education and innovation.

B’Nei Mitzvah Program

We have created one of the first accessible teen curriculum that is inclusive for JOC teens in a diasporic, liberation theology framework. We are excited to work with our partners all over the world to bring this dream to fruition.

Building a Solidarity Community

We offer adhoc programming in addition to our regular programs to enriching the diverse Jewish children’s education offerings in New York City. We believe in building alliances to to help create a ecosystem of liberatory children and adult Jewish education in New York City. We believe that in order for Judiasm survive the current threats of anti-semitism, internal oppression and external pressures to assimilate into dominant hegemony, we must create alternative spaces and institutions. We specifically center marginalized Jewish identities that do not always get a voice in our work such as the genuine voice of children who are seen and heard on their own terms as people with a right to respectful education.

Support for Communities

Education happens within the context of a larger community. Our approach extends beyond the classroom to help ensure students have the necessary support to do their best learning. We foster a culture of tikkun olam and Tzedakah by partnering with local and interational organizations for Mitzvah projects with the children. We are unwavering in our support of disabled, LGBTQIA2+ children and chidren of color.

“ Very diverse program, my kid was finally able to be with other Jews (teachers and kids) who looked like them. They are testing out the they pronoun so it was nice to be in a safe space for that. We also learned so much about another Jewish Culture.”
